- Create Channel
- Use this link to access the Create Channel page to create a new channel. After you create the channel, you can select it from this list for use on the frequency form in the main window.
Fields
- Channel
- The letter that was assigned to your channel when it was created, e.g., "A". (For a duplex channel, a read-only copy of the main channel with the Tx and Rx values reversed is created by the system, and identified with an asterisk, e.g., "A*".) Use this link to select the channel. The channel and Tx/Rx selection are set on the frequency form in the main window, and this window closes.
- Description/Purpose
- A description of the purpose of the channel and its proposed use.
- Tx/Rx
- Type of channel.
- TX Freq. ID
- Identifier for the transmission (Tx) frequency to be employed on this channel. Use the identifier in other channels to indicate that the same frequency is used.
- Tx Frequency or Range (MHz)
- Shows the value or range of the requested transmission (Tx) frequency. Not applicable to Rx-only frequencies.
- RX Freq. ID
- Identifier for the reception (Rx) frequency to be employed on this channel. Use the identifier in other channels to indicate that the same frequency is used.
- Rx Frequency or Range (MHz)
- Shows the value or range of the requested reception (Rx) frequency. Not applicable to Tx-only frequencies.
- Channel Assigned To
- Lists the stations with frequencies using the channel. Use the link to access the frequency record on that station.
