Browse/search account information

All of the information in ALS associated with your Web profile, including accounts, station, and frequency information, is available for browsing using the Land Station Browser. You can either browse hierarchically through your profile information (moving from accounts to stations to frequencies), or you can search your account information for specific stations or frequencies.

You do not have access to information on accounts that are not part of your Web profile.

To browse your account information:

  1. From the Main Menu, select the Land Station Browser from the Account Information section.
If this is the first time you are accessing a secure area in your current session, you will be prompted for your Web profile user name and password.
  2. Click the Account Number field of one of the accounts listed under Your Accounts. (Only accounts that you have selected to be part of your Web profile are listed here.)
  3. On the Account Details page, view the Account Data and associated Account Stations list.
  4. In the Account Stations section, click the Station Location of one of the stations to view the Station Details page. This page contains Station Data, Licence Conditions, Frequencies list, and Passive Repeaters list. You can also print a PDF version of the station information.
  5. When viewing Frequencies for a station, click on the Tx Frequency (MHz) field to view the Frequency Details page, containing Frequency Data, Frequency Conditions (including coordination information), and Frequency Link Stations.

To search your account information:

  1. On the first page of the Land Station Browser, select the type of information you want to search for (choose from Station Search or Frequency Search).
  2. Enter the search criteria (optional).
  3. Click Search.

Station Search

For a Station Search, enter one or all of the following criteria:

  • a complete or partial Station Location.
  • a complete or partial Call Sign,
  • a complete Licence Number.

The search will be narrowed depending on the number of these criteria you enter; if you enter no criteria, all station records in your Web profile accounts will be returned.

The Station Search returns the licence that matches your licence search criteria. Returned information includes the Station Location, Call Sign, Latitude, Longitude, Licence Number, and Licence Status.

Entries in the Station Location column are linked to the Station Details page, which is in turn linked to related information for that licence.

Frequency Search

For a Frequency Search, enter one or all of the following criteria:

  • a complete Record Identifier,
  • the start and end of the TX Frequency range, and
  • the start and end of the RX Frequency range.

The search will be narrowed depending on the number of these criteria you enter; if you enter no criteria, all frequency records in your Web profile accounts will be returned.

The Frequency Search returns a list of frequencies that match your frequency search criteria. Returned information includes the Record Identifier, Transmission Frequency, Receive Frequency, Link Station Location, and Frequency Status Code.

The entries in the Record Identifier column are linked to the Frequency Details page, which is in turn linked to related information for that frequency.
