Loss Calculations
Allows you to calculate the losses from up to three lengths of cable and your connectors.
To calculate the loss from a cable, you need to enter the length and the loss in dB per 100m. We also provide the losses from common cable types. Select from the drop-down lists your type of cable and the frequency band to be used. (Not every cable is is intended for use in every band.)
As you enter values, the form is updated. If you enter a value in a calculated field, the fields used in that calculation are cleared.
When finished, use the Copy Loss button to copy the total back to the main form and close this pop-up window. (The values you use to calculate your losses are not saved.)
