Schemas
To validate your files, you can download the XML schemas (in .xsd format) from our web site and use them to check that the format of your licence application is correct before you upload it to Industry Canada. The schema is used with your parser to validate your file. Your parser should be a validating parser that checks for the proper file format. You should verify that the validating feature in your parser is turned on before checking your file.
We occasionally make changes to the schema files. Please note the Last Updated date of the files.
